•  Wild Alaskan Fish Promotional Offer – For all those who sign up for a full or half share the fish registration fee is waived for the Summer-Fall season. All fish are sold by weight as available:

I/We _________________________ understand the benefits and risks of the growing season are shared by all and agree to the responsibilities that entail being a part of the Sixth Street Community Center CSA:

1. Payments –Payment is due in full by June 3rd. Installment plans are available if needed. Call 212-677-1863 to arrange. (Please note that there are no refunds).

2. Committee Involvement -- Members are required to participate in at least one of of the following committees:

 

 

 

 

 

□   SOS Food Advocacy Committee – Meet with other members and SOS Food volunteers to organize around food safety issues. Frequency of meetings determined by group. Helping to preserve organic standards and the will be one of our primary goals.

□      Site Management Committee - Set up and distribute produce (4pm-6pm), handle inquiries (6pm-8pm) or breakdown and clean-up (8pm- 10pm). At least two shifts required during the season. Take this opportunity to get to know your fellow members and neighbors.

□       Events Committee – Members organize trips, potlucks, dances, parties, and film screenings. The committee will organize at least one event each month of the season. If you enjoy having a good time with interesting people this is the job for you!

□    Newsletter/Website Committee – Assist with preparing the weekly  CSA newsletter or updating the website.       □    I would like to be the Newsletter Coordinator- this entails soliciting weekly articles from members, formatting the newsletter and forwarding it to Sixth Street Community Center for printing before 3pm on Tuesdays.

3.   Produce Pick-ups and Absence -- Pick-ups are Tuesdays 5pm– 9pm at Sixth Street Community Center. If you are unable to pick up your share during these hours, please call and your share will be set aside for pick-up on another day, (If you do not call your share will be given away). If you plan to be away for an extended period of time let us know if someone will be picking up in your place. Finally, please notify us if you decide to terminate your membership.

4.   Bags - Members are encouraged to bring their own bags for pick-ups as we need to reduce our use of plastic. 15¢ will be charged if the bag is supplied by the CSA.
