CSA Membership Winter/Spring 2023 Registration

Winter/Spring Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program 2023
Sixth Street Community Center is pleased to continue offering Winter-Spring CSA shares!

Partnering with Norwich Meadows Farm, we will be offering o
rganic, local fresh vegetables in small, medium and large share sizes.  

Small shares are $380, Medium shares are $700 and Large shares are $975 for all three options. Here is a sample of what you might expect in the various Winter/Spring share sizes. Eggs, Apples, Cheese, Chicken and Ground Beef are available as an additional add-on for the whole season. 

SSCC's Winter/Spring CSA will be every other Wednesday, for a total of 10 pickups during the period of January 4 - May 10, 2023. Our pick-ups are on-site at Sixth Street Community Center (638 E 6th Street, NYC), and are from 4 to 7pm. 
If you cannot pick up your share the day of, please email our CSA coordinator before 12pm the day of the pickup. Your share will be available for pick up the day after, if the share is not picked up, it will be redistributed/donated to our Free Community Fridge and/or Emergency Food Distribution Program. 


​Payments: Payment is due in full by December 10, 2022. We prefer check, but accept card (there is a 3% fee) and money order.
Installment plans are available if needed.  Minimum initial payment is $100 to join. 

Food Stamps/EBT and SNAP Benefits are also accepted. Call 212-677-1863 to arrange.  Please note that there are no refunds.

Committee Involvement -- Members are required to participate in at least one committee shift per season to fulfill your volunteer duties. An email will be sent to all CSA members with a link to the Signup website. There you will be able to reserve volunteer dates and times that work for you.​

  • Fundraising

By joining our CSA, the benefits and risks of the growing season in these difficult COVID-19 & economic times are shared by all. As a member, you agree to the responsibilities that entail being a part of the Sixth Street Community Center Winter Share. 

In order to complete your CSA Registration, you will need to submit two things:
1.The registration form (options for submission: online, as a completed pdf registration via email to ivy@sixthstreetcenter.org or paper form dropped off in person. Please email 
ivy@sixthstreetcenter.org to arrange a time for in person drop off.

. Payment (online by card or PayPal though the google form, mailing in payment or dropping it off in person)
