Organic Soul Café was an extension of the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
We began serving dinners in 2014 to show members how to create simple, healthy, delicious meals with their weekly shares of produce. The meals were prepared and served by a team of volunteers, making use of produce from the day's CSA pick-up. Volunteers learned to prepare fruits and vegetables that may have been new to them.
It was spearheaded by our beloved Annette Averette who we hold dear in our hearts and in our community centered work moving forward.
