SOS Food, in coalition with other environmental
organizations
is working to pass the following laws in New York State:
* Establish a five year moratorium on planting
and growing GE crops

* Label dairy products from cows injected with rBGH or recombinant
bovine growth hormone (A. 3586, McEneny)
* Require labeling of GE foods (A. 6778 (DiNapoli)/S. 3348
(LaValle))
At the federal level, SOS Food is working in
coalition with the Genetic
Engineering Action Network www.geaction.org
and other groups to pass the Genetically Engineered Food Right-to-Know
Act (H.R. 3377
(Kucinich)/ S.2080 (Boxer)).
