Composting Program
Composting is a great way to reduce your waste and help foster a greener and more sustainable environment in New York City. Currently, Sixth Street runs a composting program in partnership with the community garden El Jardín del Paraiso on E 5th Street between Aves C & D, CSA members can bring their food scraps to the garden to be composted and used to produce food and flowers for the community to enjoy. For more information on how and what to compost, check out the Lower East Side Ecology Center's website here.
