Host an Event at Sixth Street

Renting space at Sixth Street directly supports our community programs, youth education, food access initiatives, and the ongoing care of our historic building. Your event helps sustain the work we do for our neighbors every day. Here are the options we currently offer for rental.

Community Room (First Floor)
A spacious, open room that can host up to 75 guests. This adaptable space includes optional tables and chairs, along with a small bar area featuring a sink and mini-fridge. It is ideal for meetings, classes, celebrations, and parties, offering plenty of room to customize your layout.

Café (First Floor)
A warm, intimate space with built-in café tables and seating for about 20 guests. With wooden furniture and direct access to a full café counter and commercial refrigeration, it’s perfect for small gatherings, meals, workshops, or pop-up events. The Café can be rented on its own or paired with the Commercial Kitchen for culinary programming and food-focused events.

Commercial Kitchen (First Floor)
A fully equipped commercial kitchen suitable for cooking classes, culinary programming, and food preparation. Use of the kitchen requires additional permits and a longer application and approval process, and is not available for casual or informal use.

Sanctuary (Third Floor walk-up)
A serene, light-filled room with stained glass windows, a private restroom, and a kitchenette. The Sanctuary can host up to 50 guests and includes optional tables and chairs. It’s ideal for wellness programs, meditation, yoga, art workshops, and intimate community events.
