    CSA Membership Winter/Spring 2021 Registration

    Winter/Spring Share
    Sixth Street Community Center is pleased to continue offering Winter-Spring CSA shares! Partnering with Norwich Meadows Farm, we will be offering VEGAN, OVO LACTO, and MEAT shares.  

    Deliveries will be every other Tuesday 4 pm - 7 pm for a total of 10 pickups during the period of January 5 - May 11, 2021.
    Reduced shares are $650 and full shares are $900 for all three options and include the following sample deliveries.
    ​Food Stamps/SNAP Benefits accepted.

    You can join at any time during the season, in which case the membership fee will be pro-rated to reflect the number of pickups left in the season.

    Biweekly Pick Up for a total of 10 pick ups
    Tuesdays, 4 pm - 7 pm:  Jan. 5 - May 11, 2021.

    Information about Vegan, Ovo Lacto and Meat Shares:
    Vegan Shares: Reduced vegan shares contain vegetables. Full vegan shares contain more vegetables and 1-2 value added items such as fermented products, granola, baked goods or pickled products.
    Ovo Lacto Shares: Reduced ovo lacto shares contain 1 dozen eggs, cheese and vegetables. Full shares contain 1 dozen eggs, 32oz yogurt, 1 value added item such as fermented products, granola, baked goods or pickled products, a larger piece of cheese and vegetables.
    ​Meat     Shares: All shares contain a protein (beef or chicken), 1 doz eggs and vegetables.  Full shares contain 2x the amount of protein, 1 doz eggs and more vegetables than the reduced share.

    Organic & local fresh fruits and vegetables (vegan, ovo lacto or meat shares). 
    Sixth Street subsidizes low-income CSA shares for our community. Please check with your employer regarding matching funds to not-for-profit organizations. ​
     I understand that the benefits and risks of the growing season in these difficult COVID-19 & economic times are shared by all and agree to the responsibilities that entail being a part of the Sixth Street Community Center Winter Share: 

    1. Payments – Payment is due in full by your first pickup. Installment plans are available if needed. Late registrations are accepted. We also accept Food Stamps/EBT. Call 212-677-1863 to arrange.  Minimum initial payment is $100 to join. Please note that there are no refunds.

    2. Committee Involvement -- Members are required to participate in at least two committee shifts to fulfill your volunteer duties.
    An email will be sent to all CSA members with a link to the Signup website. There you will be able to reserve volunteer dates and times that work for you.​
